Update over 3G???

Just received the update on my Xoom and was wondering. I had my WiFi turned off all week and was no update. Got home from work tonight, turned on my WiFi and Boom! it was there. Anyone get the update over VZW, or have they all been pushed out over landline connections? Maybe I missed any tips in the update report but I hope not, usually a more comprehensive reader than that. Anyway, thought this might be a good tip to pass on if true.
