Update...? S6 Edge+

Hi there - This morning I got a message for a "Urgent Update". Looks like it updated the Edge screen...? Anyone else get this?

TMobile - But it looks like a Samsung update...it came thru Galaxy Apps the best I can tell. Just random. And it deleted my Edge settings. Hmmm...

Got the same update this morning. Thought it was odd how they called it "urgent"

Never seen an update say that, ever, in the history of all my Android devices.

The update is for the ability to change where edge icon is on your screscreen. You can move it up or down and on the left or right side of the phone now

No, it's always allowed that.

Right?! That was why I was curious as to what it was possibly going to do to advance my phone in anyway...Weird.

I got it too. I haven't noticed much difference.

If you swipe left on edge screen it gives you apps as well as contacts. That's what it's added to mine

That has been there since the get go on the Edge Plus...Nothing new...

Do you know how I can get back the update.

With the update I am now always seeing the "how to instructions"..shouldn't these be able to be dismissed?

Should be in your edge screen settings.

I removed an app from the Edge and put it back to get rid of the instructions
