Update showed up, I canceled it, now it doesn't find it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Now the stupid phone thinks the latest update has been installed already. I cleared out the Google framework but that didn't do it.

Grrr for once my phone gets the update right away but now, just because I canceled it it won't find it anymore...

Apparently their servers were hammered and they paused pushing it out.

Unfortunately nothing legit. But it's presumed at this point because other folks were complaining about the same thing.

Same exact thing here. It restated but stalled at 330mb and now it tells me I'm up to date as well. No update on Kies either. Best Buy tried as well and it did the same thing on their update server. I'll try Kies again in the morning and then call Sprint tech. Yay.

Honestly the only way so far is to factory reset and it will start automatically from reset.

Well at least I am not the only one.. Maybe it will find it again tomorrow.

I manually checked for the update and it said I was up to date (4.3). I cleared the cache on Google Services Framework and rechecked for the update and it began downloading. It is currently downloading (slowly) as I type.

I tried the framework thing multiple times with no success. Around 5 this morning I happened to wake up so I checked again and it was there and installed successfully.

I tried again this morning and it finally downloaded. It was a very slow download on wifi at .29mb at a time. It took over 2 hours but everything seems fine if not a bit snappier. I haven't checked everything yet but so far, so good.

Addendum : The gallery is much quicker to load and scrolling on FB and Web pages is a LOT smoother.

Another Google win! 💛

I read that you already tried that in your first post. Not sure why it worked for me. Maybe coincidence. But, the update did take a long time to download on Wi-Fi (over an hour) but everything went smooth.

It downloaded rather fast for me, and I only have a 3 mbit wifi connection, but I am guessing since it was in the middle of the night, no one else was stressing the servers. Either way, so far so good.
