And that is waste of an update. Motorola better not leave us with the same android version the RAZR had from two years ago. That would really burn a bridge with a lot of people
I have to say that I'm rather annoyed a phone that is one year old is THREE updates behind. If the carrier won't allow me a new phone for 2 years, then someone damn well better support my phone for 2 freaking years. I find this completely unacceptable.

I own a Razr HD (almost the same thing) and I am very optimistic both phones will get an update. No matter which OS it is (4.2-4.4) I would be very happy. I am pretty sure that the HD Dev edition is getting 4.4, so that means our phones should. Only difference is an unlocakble bootloader. If anything the Big Red is blocking it. It is made to develop for our devices. If Motorola is saying "Update Plan Coming Soon" then that means that it is probably gonna be updated to something. Why would they be waiting to tell us that our phones are no longer supported. It doesn't make sense. Cross our fingers that it's gonna be 4.4. (Sorry if this sounds like a rant. No other way to express it.)
