Update through keis Air?

I'm rooted and have clean Rom which I removed the ota upgrade capability. Since it shows that I can update through keis air, will it let me and will my phone return to stock Rom? Will my apps be deleted?

Your Firmware upgrade will write over the applications you have installed, so make sure you back them. You should be able to upgrade via Kies with USB connection. Are you upgrading to Android 4.1.2?

Ok. I downloaded titanium backup but have no idea how to use it...yes 4.1.2

Any input on backing everything up?
