Update Today - Is it Android Wear 2.0???

My LG Watch Urbane notified me of an update, like it does from time to time but this one seems to be taking a good while to install. Could it be Android Wear 2.0? Guess I'll know soon enough but seems to be talking a good while.

Nope...it is just a security update it seems. Still on Android Wear 1.5.0.3129

Yes it is on the list...I don't have a link but it is confirmed to come to LG Watch Urbane.

Yep...seeing the update now...the interesting thing about it is that is told me to charge so I can download it and I was at 95%...never did that before...which is why I thought it might be 2.0

I've heard virtually no news on AW 2.0 releasing...I think it is a totally underrated wearable OS...love AW and looking forward to 2.0

Hello guys this is my first writing, im new with AW & i've got a new update couple of days which is 1.5.0 I hope that Orignal LG Watch Urbane will get AW 2.0 soon not just the 2nd Gen

i really wish that. it's really bad if they will kill this watch. however, it's not that old :/

From all accounts of what I've read, it will get the update. (It was even hinted to on a Spanish LG web-site.)

Well, the LG Urbane 2nd edition and the Huawei Watch both have "beta" preview releases of Android Wear 2.0 that you can download right now on Android's Developer site... https://developer.android.com/wear/preview/downloads.html#set_up_a_watch

So, it's pretty obvious that THOSE two watches will be getting it. The original Urbane and any other watches I'm not 100% on, but I imagine Google wants more than just two watches running their latest and greatest.

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Sadly, I don't know of any specific release date. Hopefully they will touch on this on October 4th during their announcement.
