Update?

Hi all I'm new to this site but anyway I currently have an HTC ThunderBolt and I read on the net that there is a 2.3 gingerbread update for it but when i check for updates I get nothing. Anyone know why this is?

oh yeah...we all know...

at the end of september, gingerbread began migrating as advertised...within about 72 hours, htc and verizon were inundated w/ so many complains about bugs to include no voicemail notifications, that they pulled the gingerbread update.

lots have called verizon and htc to see when the fix to the fix will be released, but all anyone's gotten is "soon"...don't hold your breath...
