Update?

try hitting the check for updates button in settings>about phone>software updates (pretty sure that's the same as it was on my evo)

Try going to the dialer and typing this in (obviously substituting numbers for the letters):
*#*#checkin#*#*

I unrooted my droid incredible, software now stats 2.1 update 1 when will i get the 2.2 update (ota's

I had the same exact issue a couple of days ago. I unrooted from my phone after I rooted using unrEVOked3. I never received the updates OTA either. I went back to stock 2.1. My radio/baseband was set back 1.00.x.x.

What I ended up finally doing was reflashing the image by downloading it from here

It was super simple to do. basically just connect your phone and run that file on your PC. Obviously make sure to back anything you need to back up because this will image the phone completely. It will be the image for 2.2 but after it's done imaging the phone (5-10 minutes if that), and you are back up on your homescreen, you'll get the update that verizon just pushed on Nov. 8 OTA automatically pretty quick. For me it was within 2-3 minutes. The only thing that threw me off doing this was making sure I had the HTC sync drivers installed. I only had the drivers installed from unrEVOked3 and the image software couldn't find the phone when it was hooked up via usb. There is a word document that comes with the image file you can reference that tells you to install the drivers first. You can go to HTC.com and get the HTC sync software. Install it, sync it with your phone and then run the flash.

Like I said it was pretty easy. I'm not the most technical so this was a breeze for me to do.

Hope that helps!

Is there anyway to make this RUU you've linked work on a Mac?

I would install the update. It doesn't fix the .wma music tags files, lowers the video uploads in emails to 5mb and installs the Vcast store. If you don't care or none of that mentioned in my post effect you, I can't see any reason not to get this update. If I'm not mistaken it adds a bunch of improvements/bug fixes listed in the release log.

Worth it entirely for the fast charging.
