updated facebook

Im new to the S5 and when I go to facebook app to look at my account it shows posts fom days ago not new ones or updated ones. I have to restart phone at then facebook updates. what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! What happens when you swipe down on the screen when you first open Facebook? That should do a manual refresh. Also, in Facebook, tap the Menu button, then App Settings, and see what your Refresh Interval is set to.

Did you tap the menu icon and click the most recent stories?

Hope this is what your looking for. Click menu. Top right. Then look down. You see the Most Recent. Click that.
