I hope Asus keeps updating & supporting zf2 like this. Even zf5 receives updates this fast?

Oh forgot to mention, problem with wifi stability also cured in this latest update.

I got an update, but it was small at around 30mb. Is that the same one we are talking about here?

There are a lot of things on that list that were on last weeks update list (the one that got apparently got pulled for stability issues before everyone got it) I haven't compared line by line though.

I performed the first system update (2.19.40.20) last night (7/1), I then have "unfortunately, the process com.asus.services has stopped" and "unfortunately, the power saver has stopped" error, I can not change the battery mode. it keeps giving "switch mode failed" massage and is stuck in the performance mode. Wipe catch won't fix it.

So this morning (7/2), I was trying to see if I can get back to the older version by checking for update again, then to my supplies, there is another update available. Loaded and updated the system again,

The file for the second update (2.19.40.22) seems to be very small. It took seconds via the LTE to download; same as installation - a lot quicker compare with the update yesterday, but "Optimizing" process still take a while (depends on how many apps are installed). ANNNND - the problem still exist after two updates.

I don't know what else more won't work after these two updates. I did not have those issues before - strong advise NOT to update. btw - I have 2GB version.

I am now REALLY looking to roll back to the older version.

I'm not having a big issue with changing battery modes. There is a crash when I try to enter settings though on the intelligent battery mode - ironically enough. I'm on yesterday's 2.19. Have you ever done a full system restore? I didn't do one recently but after the third update I did and it helped a lot.

Did the clear cache in recovery mode with no help. Temped to do the factory reset but.. Is there a way to backup everything that I can easily restore my personal settings, apps, logins, wifi/4g setting after factory reset?

Not really. Of course you can backup any pics, vids and docs to your external sd card or a pc. Google saves apps, background pics and WiFi passwords if you enable that. You have to be in WiFi when you reinstall though for apps to be downloaded correctly. And you need to have that first WiFi password available to type in. And it don't always work but lately it's been better. Otherwise this is a fresh install except with the updates to the system locked in. You have to put back all passwords and Bluetooth pairings, settings for stuff.

Now ZenUI always asks me to backup and it might have a backup for its settings but I have not had the time to see what it is doing.

Only issue I've noticed since getting the update was shortly after I got to work this morning it said my SIM was no longer recognized. I rebooted and it's been fine since.
