Updates at same time every day interrupting stuff

I know that updates are important and that's fine.

BUT....

Something is updating every day at the same time or thereabouts --- 5:15-5:40 am every morning.

That just so happens to interfere with my routine.....stops my music playing, prevents access to stuff etc.

I would like to just move that time back a couple hours.....

I am having no luck trying to figure out what specific app is doing this......At some point I pressed the right magical button sequence to get into seeing what apps were done that morning and I was able to make some of them NOT "auto update" just to see what happened.....same thing continues...so obviously I picked the wrong ones to not auto update....maybe.

Just did it again this morning 8/28/25........UGH!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to see an app update notification when this is happening?

In order for an app update to interrupt things, it would have to be that specific app updating (e.g., a music app), or perhaps some important general app (like the Google app). If you can catch that notification while it's updating, swipe down and look at the details of the notification -- does it tell you which app is updating?

Also, have you opted in for the Beta version of any of your apps? Beta versions often update frequently, since devs are often working on new features or bugfixes. For example, I'm in the Twitch beta program, and that app seems to get small updates every single day.
