I just got it, metro Detroit. Phone updated 3 times... Was about 10 minutes total. Now says version 4.04 VS95010B

Meh, the update keeps failing. I rooted the phone months ago, then reverted back to stock. I wonder if this has anything to do with the update failing. I'm going to try the update from they're desktop program.

I haven't rooted and yet my phone is a huge MESS! Update keeps updating over and over again (says successfully each time), can't run setup wizard on phone (says lg cloud not responding!!!). NO email, NO music, NO contacts, NO photos, etc....on and on. This is a really BAD UPDATE. I've talked to Verizon a couple of times. I was told to reset the phone (didn't help)....will talk to them again later. What a huge pain!!!

So this update tanked my phone...even the camera disappeared! Getting a replacement phone Wednesday. Very disappointed in LG and Verizon!

Holy crap! I haven't received the update yet. Is there an option to decline it or does it automatically come to the phone? It sounds like we need to avoid updates until Verizon figures out what they are doing.

It does have an option to REFUSE the update.
