Updates Kill Apps (as usual)

Lollipop has rendered my EarthCams, Twitter, and Skype apps all useless, and the new white everything makes my Nexus 7 look like it's powered by Craigslist. I wish companies would stop fixing what isn't broke, because in the process they invariably break something. Is this just busywork so they don't get laid off?

I figured out how to at least change the keyboard color, but now that I have, every time I bring the keyboard up there's a flash of stripes first, like it may or may not be coming up (or may explode).

Ah, technology. At least now I know why people spend so much time looking at their devices: they're trying to figure out how they work this week.

Old man rant over. For now.

Updates aren't always bad. I would hate to still be buying Windows PCs with Vista as the OS version.

Do updates break apps...sure. The developers need to update their apps to the new API level. However, since it has been available for a while now, the fact that they haven't updated is either their choice, or it is difficult to update the app to the new version of Android.
