Updates?

Anyone know if Honor have said when we can expect any security updates? I thought Android security updates were quarterly? Be nice to have an update that fixes the annoying error message that appears when recording video / video chatting.

Hi! Yes, I definitely know what you mean. I had to disable my Google voice activation so I could utilize Facebook Messenger's voice recorder. I haven't heard anything about updates yet, but folks around here check 'round quite often; so if someone knows something, you'll be informed soon!

What colour Honor 8 do you have, by the way? Mine is white!

I typically don't use a case but keep a skin on mine. I have the midnight black. I just ordered a gold carbon fiber back skin from Skinomi. Should look pretty cool. When my new one gets here Tuesday and I'll update what security patch I'm on.

B385 rollout is happening right now, albeit verrrrryyyyyy slowly. I know people with the US model who have gotten the update OTA.

I'll have to check mine when it arrives. I'm excited to be back to my device of choice. Nothing like EMUI guys!

My security patch says "5 April 2017." What does that mean? I know that's when it was last updated but I don't know what number that is.
