I switched from Sprint back in April when they stopped allowing the ESPN texts etc. I kept my Epic and use it as an mp3 player and watching Netflix around the house etc on my wifi. I got the Sprint zone mesage that there would be an update coming out for the Epic. Will this still get pushed to me via the wifi connection since I am not on the Sprint network or will I have to do another method if I wish to update it?

As per the previous post, just use Odin to go back to Froyo stock and install the update.zip file using the built-in recovery. This is what I did with my Epic since it is mostly used as a backup camera, Sonos controller and wifi device.
