Updating Swype in ROMs

I'm hoping someone can help with this and that it's as easy as I think it is . . .

I'm currently using the latest Apex ROM (crazy stable - love it) and use the Swype keyboard. Recently an updated beta for Swype was released that supposedly significantly improved prediction over time - as opposed to now when it seems the prediction gets steadily worse over time. I'm trying to figure out how to update to the latest beta to see if it really is an improvement. And then of course, if it isn't, switch back to the original. Can someone walk me through how to do that in Apex (or in general if there is no difference)?

I just un-installed swype through titanium backup and downloaded the beta with no issues. And it's way better if for no other reason than it doesn't constantly pop up that horrible annoying idiotic warning box every single time you select a different word.

Where did you get the beta? Im not seeing it in the market.

Awesome - thanks. I had some issues actually uninstalling the original (thanks for the titanium tip) and then the beta wouldn't complete installation. But a quick reboot solved all that and I'm now using the new beta. Thanks again.

Which version are you installing, I got 2.29.71.20186 from Beta Site and do anyone know if there is a black theme that can work on this build?

Update: I updated swype and was able you modify the theme and installed theme with MetaMorph...
