About two weeks ago i updated my phone to imm30b from 4.0.2 without rooting or unlocking my phone. I followed a video posted on these forums and xda. Now i want to update it to 4.0.4 IMM76k without rooting or unlocking my phone. I followed the same way the video has told me but it wont let me unlock the shell. Anyone know why?

Yes. When I type in the 0xda4f ....blah blah it doesn't change the $ sign to # that indicating its rooted temporarily

If it is the one that has the " in it you need to make sure its two ' not one ". If your copying and pasting it it still puts a " you have to go fix it.

I was on 4.0.2. I just re-read his original post and noticed he was on the leaked version of 4.0.4. If he wants to change to the new 4.0.4 he has to go back to stock 4.0.2.

That's what i was thinking. Thanks

Sorry to late respond, been busy lately. So if i used Odin i can revert back to 4.0.2 then update to the new 4.0.4 without having to reset my phone and not lose anything.
