I recently switched from BB10, to Android, and I now have a Samsung S6 edge plus , which I unlocked myself.
Now my question is that originally the phone was locked with Rogers, and I am now with Koodo, but Koodo will never push out the Marshmallow update for the Samsung S6 edge plus, as they never carried that phone.
How am I ever going to get the Marshmallow update if Koodo doesnt have it, and I am not with Rogers ?
I know I can somehow manually get the update through other methods, but I was hoping not to go down that road.
I contacted Samsung, and they told me if I had Samsung Smart Switch installed on my computer, then the update will come directly from them, once its available on their server, so I guess I answered my own question
