Updating

I am rooted on krt160. How do I update to krt16S without losing root or my apps and data? Is there a way?

I take it that you have a custom recovery and as far as I know you can not update your nexus without having to wipe it and put everything back on. I use the free version of titanium backup, it works great to back up your app data.
