Upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy S22 plus ?

I have a samsung S22 plus but am thinking of upgrading it
To maybe S23 plus or S 24 plus.
The reason.....Occasionally it freezes or the wire doesn't charge it.
But its a nice phone even thought I bought it A Used. May do that again as a good saving.
Which phone do you suggest for me? I dont play games or anything on it.
Email Music Photos Videos..usual stuff.

Tried different wires.
Not got a wireless charger no.
But it also freezes.
Just was thinking about a new phone. It may be the last one I buy.
Wondering abut the difference between the 22plus 23plus and 24plus to compare.
Asked Google but the specs are complicated for me to understand

You would be best served going straight to an S24 +. I jumped from and S22 Ultra to the S24 Ultra. The overall performance is significantly improved. Samsung would probably give you a decent trade in for your S22+.

But even with a trade in its a lot of money
But not sure about theS23+
I just want a reliable phone for my last one & nothing too technical
Not freezing or slow charging, faster and a great screen.

But do like a challenge lol

The S24+ is a reliable device. At least the Snap Dragon version is. The S22+ is still a damn good device. Again, I am speaking for the Snap Dragon version.

Am leaning toward the S23plus as its cheaper. But really don't know.
Don't need a lot of new stuff just a reliable phone that lasts me. And a bit faster and clearer lol
Do love my S22 plus but its slowing down now.

But if the S24 plus is much better maybe i will save a bit more and wait.
Am I better with Snap Dragon then?
