upgrade from s8+

So I have the s8+ on Verizon and I am looking at getting the note 9. But is it worth it to upgrade now or wait for the s10?

The note 9 checks every box for me in a phone but in 6 months from now the new snap dragon 855 will be in the s10. Is it worth it to hold out?

Should I go with 6gb or 8gb version? I know it's a lot of money but is it better to future proof this thing with all of that ram? My s8+ with only 4gb is starting to lag every once in a while...launching camera etc...

I'm using the s8 and going from my hands on with the Note 9 and all it brings it's certainly a good upgrade.

Look at it this way If a person always waited to see what's new out around the corner we would never upgrade etc. :)

For me the 8gb of Ram over the 6Gb of Ram won't be noticeable.

I won't be using the inbuilt Dex feature that I think would benefit from the 8gb of Ram.

512Gb of on board storage is overkill for my usage habits too.

As a former Note 7 owner, I've been waiting awhile now to get another Note. Got the S7 Edge after being forced to return the N7 and didn't like it. S8+ after that and it's been solid. Skipped the Note 8 as I felt it was a bit of a downgrade with a smaller battery and similar specs to the S8+.

So now pulled the trigger on an 8gb/512gb Note 9 and can't wait. Should be a substantial upgrade from the S8 - much faster, better camera and much better battery life.

I'm using Note 8, i told myself I will not change phone for 2 two years, but I pre ordered Note 9 this week. Slap me pls... :(

Why shouldn't a person have the best available.

People work hard for their disposable income at the end of the day.

I could say my s8 is less than a year old and in pristine condition and only have used around 20gb of onboard storage so why not just carry on using that.

Well it's because I want to own my first Note phone and I work hard and save up to buy my phone's from Samsung.

You only live once so have no buyers remorse in treating ourselves.
