I just bought a 16gb MicroSD card that I want to install in my G4. I currently have an 8gb installed. What do I need to know to swap them out? Can I just copy all the folders onto my PC and upload to the new card? Any pointers would be appreciated!

Yep. Just copy the data from your old card and transfer it to the new one.

Simple as Key Lime Pie! xD

Make sure to either shut the phone down before removing the card, or go to Settings, Storage, and Unmount the card. Or do both, if you'd like.

Oh- there is also a little feature to help physically remove the SD card.

Remove the back, and look closely where the card installs. There is a small black plastic piece, by the "MicroSD" text molded into the phone, which helps get the card out. Push on the black plastic thing, towards the bottom of the phone, and it will partially slide the card out, making it easier to remove.

Unlike my last phone, you cannot just push the card in, to make it click and pop out. You actually have to pull it out. But the little black pusher makes that easier.

Done. I uploaded my DCIM and music folders and everything seems to be working fine! The phone already created Android and LOST.DIR files on the new card when I plugged it in.
