LG has been stepping up their game lately. The G2 is an amazing device by itself. As for software updates quite a few countries have already pushed 4.4 out. Not to mention two of the big 4 carriers in the U. S. AT&T and T-Mobile. Considering the majority of devices running 4.4 are either GPE devices or Nexus devices. IMO LG is surging hard to get their products into consumers hands. The fact that LG worked with Google on the last two Nexus phones and the GPE of the LG G pad 8.3and with the leaks that LG will once again be the frontrunner for the Nexus 6 also Google is using LG to produce their upcoming smartwatch. I'm fairly certain that it's going to be a historic year for LG.

I think I'll be sticking with my G2. I upgraded from my GS3 about a week ago and seeing as how my family is basically Samsung, I needed to show them that using Android means having diversity. And I really started to dislike TouchWiz.

Anyway, as far as devices go nowadays, I don't need the latest and greatest to be happy. The G2 is everything I want and in some cases more than I need.

And just for general knowledge, I chose the G2 over the GNote3 because 5.2 inches felt just right, and SPARK LTE is even nicer.

The only thing I miss from my GS3 is being able to talk and surf the web at the same time. (GS3 specific feature.)
