Does anyone know of a way to upgrade to a newer firmware without needing a computer? I saw you can update using an external SD card. If anyone knows where to find the firmware files and what should be used that'd be awesome.

The stock Samsung firmware depends on which of the 42 models of Galaxy S5 you own and which Product code you have, as per #1.8 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide. Download the firmware from the link in #1.11 of the same post.
