I think this is in the wrong forum... That said, if it suits you, go for it. I have a Note 20 Ultra and it works great. I bought mine around 5 months ago for 330 dollars. I also have an S21 Ultra. I had purchased the N20U as a kind of backup device, but I now use it as my daily driver.
You will find there are a few "upgrades," on the Note 20 Ultra compared to your current N10+. I've had both. N20U has a slightly brighter, smoother screen since it has 120hz high refresh rate. It also has a pretty good camera, and larger battery. That said, maybe not necessarily enough to see a HUGE improvement, but the battery is still larger. So yes, even though it is a "minimal upgrade," the Note 20 Ultra still has some improvements over the Note 10+. It's also still supported by security patches and probably will be for at least the next six months, even if they are only quarterly.
The only kicker about the screen is the fact that you cannot use WQHD while on 120hz refresh rate. It's capped at Full HD. That said, it still looks pretty good.
I think there is a lot of value in older devices. Unless you are a tech enthusiast, I really don't think having the latest and greatest is always necessary. This is one of the reasons I am also still using the S21 Ultra, even though it was released nearly 4 years ago. Also, as you said, with the Note 20 Ultra, one of the major advantages is the fact that it's basically the latest major Samsung device to have micro SD card support. I definitely enjoy having my 512GB SD card in it.
"The S25 Ultra is coming soon! It's gonna be dope! Let me jump on that!" Nah. I'm good. I'll take my older devices. My S21U basically does almost everything a newer device can. I bought it on Ebay 2 years ago for 600 dollars, no trade in necessary.
