If I were to upgrade from my Galaxy Nexus, to this phone, would I be required to change to the share everything plan?

If you get the phone at the subsidized price and extend/renew your contract then yes you will lose unlimited data and have to go to either the 2gb for $30 plan or the New share plan.

However, if you buy the phone outright for full retail, you will not have to change your plan.

There is a clause in the contract which specifically states any systematized transmission indicating a possible intelligent origin must be investigated. --Ash

This is not the worst thing I've heard, but the new share plan is. There is no reason other than profit that VZW has done this despite the false rumor of lack of bandwidth. I'd rather be downgraded to 2gb than be stuck in a new share plan that will only increase my bill a lot.
