AC Question

Hi I bought an unlocked at and t lg g3 from ebay, it's on the cricket network now and running lollipop 5.01. Whats the best way to get marshmellow, I have downloaded LG's pc suite and it says the latest updates are installed. Will this change once LG rolls out the update, or am I just stuck with lollipop forever? thanks

Cricket is in the AT&T network... When AT&T release the G3 marshmallow upgrade... You will have it. I am in T-Mobile LG G3 and they are in testing mode... Soon they will be pushing the upgrade.

thanks! i thought i was stuck with lollipop forever, there is one real annoying thing with this used g3 i bought, everytime you plug it in and it reaches 100 % wont stop beeping and telling you to unplug it, hope the marshmellow upgrade will make this go away, will all the bloatware go away as well?

Have you factory reset it?

i dont think I have but i bought it used on ebay so it must have come factory reset right? also the fact that it beeps alot when fully charged isnt androids fault right? people said pure android doesnt do that, its lg or at and that added something

question...

My Cricket LG G3 is rooted and thus updates from LG won't install. Is it enough for me to simply turn off root to get the updates to install or do I have to completely uninstall KingRoot? If I DO have to uninstall...how will that affect the apps that are linked to my SD card?

Thanks!!

According to what I know (I could be wrong) once you rooted your phone, there is not way to install any updates from the carrier or phone maker, unless you re-install the OS.
