Upgraded to 2.1 now phone sucks

Contacted Verizon this morning worked with some tech that knew nothing about the phone, I was telling him where to go in the menus. Called because phone was slow on pulling up contact info. 5 to 10 seconds to display numbers for a contact is totally unacceptable to me. He told me a number of other people had called in with the same issue and after I walked him through the troubleshooting steps, he wanted to do a master reset. To which I said no way I just did that last week.
I asked about getting another device which he replied I could purchase one at full price. My reply to him was I rather just cancel my service and move to a different carrier cause it would be cheaper. Then I hung up.
 
Try sending an email to the corporate office and they will call you back or ask to speak with that persons boss. Just keep calling til you get what you want
 
Call centers will do nothing, trust me. I was on my 5th replacement Eris. That's when I emailed and I got a very nice lady finally seeing all of my points and agreed that I was not being listened to. She told me the options, and I stated that I would like a phone with the Sense UI and that only the Incredible had it other than the Eris, that's when she offered it.
 
I might have to try that. I'm getting a replacement from them tomorrow and I'm sure I will have the same problem
 
Well I have my replacement now and so far my signal strength seems about the same if not worst but no force closes yet and only minimal lag so far
