upgraded to 2.1_2.0.A.0.504_GENERIC_x10A - Now what?

coming from iphone I haven't got a clue what to do next.

I am a complete noob so help me out!

1. What software on pc do you use to to connect to 2.1 eg download contact info and manage music.

2. I can make phone calls but 3G is not working
3. My phone still says sonyericsson on home screen - how do i remove it?

There ton of more questions i have but most importantly i need my contact info.

You're using HDSPA (SP?) a faster network or different. Don't fret on the loss of the 3G symbol. Have you seen an H ?

Honestly, try out sonyericsson.com/support and download PC Companion if you have a or access to a windows machine, If not I have used Astro from the market. It manages files and lets you put them places and name folders and what-not. I Bluetooth or data cable everything from my macbook without issue.

To remove the boot screen you will need the help of the XDA Forum. The X10 has it's own section and they are the "Speed Shop" for this phone.
