Upgrading from Note 2 - data plan

So I still have my unlimited data plan on my note 2 since i bought it retail. I will want to upgrade to note 4 this fall. Quick question about Big Red and upgrades....

My brother who is on my plan has an upgrade on his line. He just got a S5 so he is set with a phone. If he upgrades on his line which already has a tiered data plan can he just upgrade to the note 4 when it comes out then just give me the phone and i activate it on my line??

Technically it will just like me buying the phone.

Still love my note 2 but am already looking forward to the note 4

Yes, he can upgrade his non unlimited line, then after activation, move the phone to your line

Yes, from what I am understanding, he is transferring from the unlimited to non unlimited line
