Upgrading SD Cards from 16GB to 32GB

I got my new 32GB Samsung micro sd in the mail yesterday and want to go ahead and transfer contents from the 16GB in my Fascinate (my SG3 should be delivered tomorrow). Since my Fascinate was not rooted, I downloaded My BackUp Pro and have backed everything up on my 16GB card.

I wanted to transfer the contents to my laptop, but now I find when I plug in the USB to my laptop, the Fascinate does not show up...

I figure there are hidden files on the 16GB card, so if I pull it out and use the adapter and plug directly into my laptop, how can I make sure everything I need copies over?

Put the new microSD card in an adapter and format it to FAT32 using a tool such as gParted. You can transfer the files to the card while it is in the adapter, then just do a swap for the one in the phone and reboot.
