But i have a few questions and sorry in advance if these are obvious but thought i'd ask anyway. This coming week i'll be upgrading from the Droid X to the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. What is the best way to transfer all my apps, Photos and contacts to the Nexus?

Like i said, Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question but i want the upgrade to be a smooth as possible transition.

Thanks for any input or advice.

As far as ease of use, I prefer MyBackup Pro. It has a better GUI than some of the other backup programs, IMO.and is worth it for the time you'll save. Just don't backup the System Settings because you won't want to transfer them from your DX to your Nexus.

Once you backup all your data and apps, it will create a directory called REWARE on your DX SD card.

Transfer that directory to your computer and then transfer it to your new Galaxy Nexus.

Install the app toward your new Nexus and run the Restore Option. You can probably backup, transfer, and restore in an hour or less.
