Let me see if I can phrase this so it makes sense LOL. Can you take 3D pictures, but upload them to, let's say, your Facebook page as a 2D?

In other words, when I'm about to take a picture, if I ever want to share it with someone, either as an email, in a text message, or upload to Facebook, can they see it as a regular image?

Noticed that when you're scrolling 3D images, for a split second it shows it in 2D, so I'm thinking it can be done. Also, is there a way to view (on the EVO), 3D images, but as 2D?

Think I just confused myself...

I think it changes it to a .jpg file when you upload. Hold on and I'll test it.

EDIT:

Yep, it pops up a warning saying that it will auto convert it to a 2d image.

No, I'm not happy to see you, that's a Shooter in my pocket.

Re: 3D and 2D Picture Question

Yes, when you attach it to a message it automatically converts it to 2d...in fact, if you go to a 3D picture, long press on the pic, go to edit, and it will have an option to save a 2D version of the pic...

Re: 3D and 2D Picture Question

Now could you send a 3D pic to another EVO 3D?

How do u do that?
Just go to the pic, long press and select share, then select the mail option...It will then ask if you want to share it as 3D or 2D...Then it will go to the email and you just ender the recipient and there you go...

Or, you could just start an email, press menu and select attach, then gallery and select any of your pics, and the same box will pop up about wanting to share as a 3D or 2D...\

And I believe someone stated in another thread that you can MMS a 3D pic to another E3D and it sends it as a special format...
