My battery is running down quick. When i checked it said it was uscc live wallpaper using 94% of my battery and the live wallpaper isn't my homescreen wallpaper. How do i stop it or change it?Thanks.
merge has terrible battery life only 6.5 hrs of standby time. the 94% doesn't mean 94% or your battery, it means 94% of what has been used. so if your battery is at about 50%, then your live wallpaper has used 47% of your battery. live wallpapers use up the battery fast. click menu/wallpaper and change to a static wallpaper.

Some of the merges are needing an extra step after changing to a htc wallpaper do a batt pull and then the live paper will shut down. Mine did not need this step but a friend of mine got this phone and his would not shut the live paper down without a batt pull FYI.
Hey , im not sure if I have the right person or not ..
but are you gmmech that use to be on a site called BerryAddict.com ?
if so , this is bobby ! i ran that site .
I was browsing around looking for ROOT for the HTC Merge and remembered your screen name .
I have another site now , TeamUSCellular.com and its doing quite well .
I also have the Merge , Mesmerize and Desire all from USCellular .
loving the Merge , I hope it gets perm. root soon as i love to load custom roms and hacks onto my Desire and Mesmerize . My only complaint with the Merge is the weight of the device .. but then again , i think it makes it feel like its built like a tank (or at least i hope it is . lol )
Acting strange.... pushed home button and many times it got to white htc screen, then loads wallpaper.... a box pops up and says loading then finally everything falls into place but the whole process takes 10-15 seconds after pushing home button...
Installed adw launcher and it was acting laggy so I uninstalled it and now everything is laggy...
Any thoughts?

I'm not an expert but that sounds like either the launcher/homescreen is crashing, or the phone ran out of memory to keep it all loaded.
