US visit for 1 month

I am from Malta, and am going to be in the US for four weeks. Could anyone tell me how much it costs to buy a sim card, and what deals i can get for credit and 3g for that month? I want to see if it's cheaper to get a US sim or stick with my own using international roaming plans

I suggest stopping into a Walmart and picking up a T-Mobile SIM with the $30 100 minute, unlimited text, unlimited data access plan.

Is there a 30 day plan of ready sim? I could only find the 14 day one which would be expensive overall.. Otherwise its perfect for me as it has unlimited intl texts
