Android Central Question

My wife and I are traveling to London for 8 days at the end of September. I am using a OnePlus 3 and she has a Pixel 2. We are AT&T postpaid subscribers in the USA but any international stuff from AT&T is insane.

I'm thinking about getting 10GB pay-as-you-go SIMs from 3, which is only 15 GBP each and has unlimited talk and text. Is this a good option for us? I can't find that Pixel 2s and OnePlus 3 are supported by 3. Any suggestions?

Consider renting a pocket wi-fi hotspot at the airport: https://www.travelerswifi.com/blog/where-to-pick-up-your-pocket-wifi-at-london-heathrow-airport/. I did this on recent trips to Taiwan, Japan, and China, and they worked very well (download speeds around 20 Mbps). Cost was around $6-7/day, which is generally cheaper than your wireless provider's international packages. Wi-fi hotspots don't include voice calls, but you could make VoIP calls with wi-fi.

I'm not sure how well these work in the UK/Europe, but I would guess they're about the same.

Also, in my experience the easiest way to get a prepaid card is buying it in Tesco or any other supermarket, they are quite cheap. In England I always prefer buying Vodafone cards.
