Question USA Dual-SIM Users - Google Messages

Fellow US Dual-SIM Users using Google Messages. Among everyone in my family, I am the ONLY one with Messages that looks like Screenshot 1. Everyone else's has Screenshot 2.

I have an S23 Ultra (Carrier), everyone else has a S21+, zFlip3, etc are also carrier... All Samsung phones. ALL have the exact same Messages build.

Besides me asking which screenshot is what you see in your messages, are you able to RCS on both numbers from G-Messages or only 1? A guy in Europe said he has RCS on both numbers, I've only ever had it on one.

Alternative thought, what if I ODIN U1 firmware?

The one thing I noticed is mine says RCS by T-Mobile while everyone else's just says RCS

If you go to unlock firmware U1 it will Not be by T-Mobile, instead Jibe by Google

I've always had unlocked until now but i know the one thing I like about carrier firmware is it differentiates the 5G signals, like 5G UC, unlocked doesn't but that's a different topic.

Do you know if Jibe supports dual SIM RCS? Right now that only seems to work on Samsung Messages ONLY on U/carrier firmware. U1 breaks that. My end goal is dual SIM RCS but if that simply doesn't exist with Google Messages I'll have to decide on carrier firmware which messenger I want to stick with.

That must be new, older builds (or maybe just older phones, S21 and S22 Ultras didn't).

Guess I'll have to hope for someone with dual SIM to confirm.

Maybe this is my tinfoil hat time but I have mixed feelings on Frija. Used it once many years ago and removed it.

Computer started acting funny (despite having downloaded it from a reputable site), even today there is back and forth if it's safe.

I can't say for certain if it's safe or not but there really is no reason the tool couldn't have been a website rather than a closed source executable.

Call me paranoid, maybe I am. The major FW players usually almost immediately have it up on their sites once it's available so I wouldn't expect to see it any sooner anyway.
