I forgot to check how much storage was available to the user when I was at Best Buy yesterday. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks.

Sprint S4 with kit Kat is using exactly 6.26gb now. Wish they would free up some space since I will probably get the 16gb.

Its 10GB for the consumer units, and about 6GB for the demo units at the stores because of their own software

Guess I'll buy a sd card. Why doesn't the S5 have 32gb if there's so much memory getting tied up? 16gb is really low for a "flag ship phone."

Why doesn't Samsung release the S5 with 32 gb? It is after all their 2014 flagship cellphone. For a flagship phone... 16 gb is on the low end. I currently have a Nexus 4 and it too has 16gb. I'm nowhere near running low on memory, but the Nexus line doesn't have manufacturer and carrier bloatware. I use cloud storage and I will pick up an sd card when my S5 arrives. I'm just curious to know why Samsung doesn't release a 32 gb version. Also... I was surprised that the S5 doesn't have 3 gb of RAM. However... I am more than happy to have pre-ordered this phone.

Agree. The 16GB phones need to go away.
