USB-C cable.

I no this phone uses a USB type C to charge but will any USB-C cable be ok to use to charge the phone? Or anyone got any cables they use for the Huawei P20 pro?

Use a quality charging cable for any type of connector. A long cable with thin wires will take longer to charge a phone - and a cheap enough connector won't last long. (I had one Samsung connector fall apart in my hand.) Anker (get them on Amazon) makes quality cables. Get one as short as is practical. (The type of phone doesn't determine the "best" cable, as long as it's an Android phone. Some iPhones use Lightning connectors.)

Was thinking of getting an anker cable. Just need a spare one to carry with my so I don't end up damaging the official cable coz it's my only way to charge the phone at the moment. Pulling the cable in & out of my bag & folding it up so the cable fits in my bag is worrying me that I'm gonna damage the cable then I won't be able to charge my phone.

Found this cable & the reviews say it fast charges the P20 pro. Plus there is a code for the cable that starts with HL then some numbers & there the same is my cable when I unpacked the phone. Surprised this hasn't been mentioned, but in order to get Huawei Supercharge speeds, you'd surely need to buy a 5amp capable cable? I believe they have purple coloured ends to them.

I got the official Huawei one so I'm now ok. Nice to have a spare when I need to go out & take the cable.
