USB C charging port wiggle up and down

Hi everyone.

I've just noticed that when the charging cable is in the charging port it wiggle up and down if I move it. It charges fine though.

Is this normal? I remember on my previous phones the cable would click in solid and wouldn't move.

Maybe it's a design so there isn't too much pressure on the port?

Any help is appreciated.

Mines does the same but not too much to the point where I notice or worried. I pretty much don't jiggle my cable while it's charging so it doesn't bother me.

Make sure the port doesnt have any lint or anything in it causing it to not seat properly.

Some phones are just looser than others though. My G6 wiggles a little. My Z Force port died after 8 months and was really loose. My old backup Nexus 5x still clicks in solid with no wiggle...

One more reason to love wireless charging. Less wear and tear on that port.
