Now that I've been working from home due to COVID-19, I find myself having to be careful of phone battery levels and making phone calls. I am fine with using the headphones that came with the Ultra, but I have the issue of either charging OR using headphones for calls.

Can anyone recommend a reputable brand or supplier for a type of splitter? I have found many that have a headphone jack connector and USB-C connector, but not usually two USB-C connectors. I saw some chincy looking ones on eBay but want to know the device I'm using can at least handle the charging current from the standard charger which came with the Ultra.

I'm sure that you have already considered it, but wireless charging is another option.

I haven't seen much regarding splitters, but the little I have seen has indicated it's not a good idea and can't damage your equipment.

Wireless charging is certainly an option, but so is Bluetooth. If you want to consider a Bluetooth headset, I would suggest the Blue Parrot brand. They have some of the best call quality available and awesome nose canceling microphones. This would also give you more freedom of movement while working.

Yeah, I guess I was hoping for a cheaper alternative to getting a wireless charger. I have some true wireless earbuds, but I don't know that the microphone quality is going to be as good, plus that's another device to charge. I looked on Samsung Shop and didn't see any in their accessories.

If you do decide to look at Bluetooth more, here's a review I made of the headset I currently use. Since you mentioned charging as an issue, this headset is advertised as having 24 hours talk time. They also have other versions if you don't like the traditional headband style.

I got these when I got my Note (now have the S20+) but couldn't use the earplugs that come with the phone with hearing aids. These have the old style plug but they make them with two mini plugs.plug1.jpgplug.jpg
