USB C to 3.5 adapter not working

Love my new Note 10+. Hate that it didn't come w/ a 3.5mm adapter. I bought one off Amazon and also had one from an Apple device.

Both of them are not working. I can see my media is playing but nothing is coming out of my speakers. The volume is turned up. Can't imagine that both are Noth working.

Let me know if anyone is seeing this.

You probably have the pass through adapter which just changes the connection. That only works with units that output audio through the USB C port. It's a digital signal from USB C on the Samsung so you need one with a DAC built into the adapter. If the supplied earbuds work that is your issue.
