USB cable and SD card, which one is fast when transfer movies to Xoom?

Recently, i converted many wonderful movies on my computer. i want to transfer them to my xoom for playing to kill those boring time. but i don't know which one is fast to transfer movies to my Xoom, SD card or USB cable? I don't want to cost more time on transmission. Plese give a help!

I used 16GB SD card, when i transfer a 250M video cost 3 seconds, but when i use usb cable, it take me more 1 minutes.

yes, the SD card is faster than USB when transferring files to Xoom. and the same for other devices

I often go to business trip, but it is boring when on the plane. So I always go with my Xoom and watch DVD movies to kill those boring time..
