"USB connected" keeps popping up when unplugged

"USB connected" keeps popping up in notification bar when the phone is unplugged. This problem started when I installed and uninstalled the new Dolphin Mini browser. It doesn't effect the was the phone works it's just irritating to have that notification keep popping up, anyone know how to fix this problem?

My phone is rooted with a stock ROM

Try this
Menu, settings, applications, development, USB debugging - unchecked.

Menu, settings, applications, USB settings, check on connection - checked.

I did the: menu, settings, applications, development, USB debugging.
But I couldn't find: menu, settings, applications, USB settings, check on connection.
Although I did find USB settings in the settings screen but it didn't have the "check on connection" option.

usb connect

this is probly a little late, butt....

try taking out your memory card while the phone is on...then turn your phone off and on twice...
then put card back in....that took care of the problem for me....hope this helps
