USB connection to Android Phone

I recently purchased the keyboard dock.

When I plug my HTC EVO into it, it doesn't get recognized so I can transfer files to/from my phone.

Anyone else experience this?

I have a 2.5 inch drive in an external enclosure too. when I plug it in, a little hard drive looking icon flashes on the TF, but it doesn't show up under /Removable.

Thumb drives show with no problem though.

I am able to connect an external drive to mine without problem. I just tried my phone (LG Optimus) and it does not show up on the Transformer either.

I was able to see it once i formatted it FAT32, but that sucks because with FAT32 my 250GB HD with nothing on it, is only 232GB. That's a lot of space wasted.
