USB Connection with a Windows 11 PC

Is anyone besides me having a problem getting their Pixel 7 to communicate with a Windows 11 PC via USB? If so, have you found a way to fix this?

I have enabled file sharing on the phone. I have updated my PC Driver. Changed cables, Changed ports. Nada!

Usually I have to click USB file transfer on phone at least 3-5 times before it connects properly.

I stuck with 10 sorry. Not a fan of the changes in 11 to be honest.

When I plug my 7 Pro into Windows 11, I have to use the pull down menu to get the prompt that says that it's charging via USB and tap for more options. I always select File Transfer to move/copy data back and forth with no problem.
