USB Cord with Android Auto Aftermarket Head Units

What are people doing about the USB cord when installing aftermarket Android Auto head units? Is there a loose cable from the back of the head unit that hangs out somewhere? Are you installing a USB port somewhere? Are you modding an oem usb port to work with the head unit?

Any pictures would be great.

heres mine, there is another USB port on the left, for iphone or w/e else. they do sell USB ports on Amazon

My install has USB extensions running from the head unit to the lower part of my front console and I plug another cable in from there.
