Hi There, I'm new at this forum. I am trying to install USB driver to download app from Android Studio. I have downloaded successfully the driver but it is not been installed successfully.
I ma using windows 7. The Samsung is displayed in Device Manger as Galaxy S7 and windows said the the driver is up to date.
I would appreciate any help .

Welcome to the forums as a new member! I don't understand what "trying to install USB driver to download app from Android Studio" means. The USB driver, along with enabling Developer mode on the phone, allows you to access the phone as a storage device. What are you trying to download from where and how?

Thanks for your answer.
I am starting as android developer. I am using android Studio. I need to download app from Android Studio
to my Android phone which is Samsung Galaxy S7 or to the phone emulator. I do not want to use the phone emulator.
So that I need to download a USB driver and install in my Win 7 computer. I clicked on the appropriate link to download the USB driver for the S7 and after installed it, Win 7 tell me that the installation was not successful.
This is the point of my question what is happening that Win7 does not accept the driver ?
Thanks for your time.

Okay, misunderstood your question. If you go into Device Manager, find the USB device and repair or replace the driver with the one you downloaded. I know you've already done that, but 7 can be stubborn at times with phone USB drivers. Have you verified the driver is correct for Win7? I've also had problems, it just takes patience at times and going back over the driver.
