USB Tethering/Internet Connection Mode?

Long story short: I need to use my phone as a wireless adapter via usb.

Can I do it with the Optimus S and CM7?

I checked through the settings, but it says "USB Tethering is not available at this time" and I can't find internet connection mode.

I'm assuming it's not possible at this time because I wasn't able to search anything helpful up. Keywords bring up the opposite of what I want T.T

Works on cm7 and reborn. Browse the past few pages of drew's cm7 page and you will see that someone had am issue and the proper way to fix it if you see the same thing.

EDIT: You can use wifi tethering. USB tethering I haven't tried but remember seeing something about it. Can't look right now. On my phone.

Yeah the wifi tethering works. Problem is, the connection I need my PC to access is wireless and I don't currently have a wifi adapter.

Thanks for the input, I'll go through the thread and see if I can't find anything.
