usb won't disconnect

Though I unplug the charger from the phone, it acts as if the charger is still plugged in. It only began happening after rooting the phone, so I'm hoping it's not broken hardware. Any experience with this or advice how to proceed?

In the notifications, it says usb connected, but nothing is plugged in to the phone

I have actually heard of this issue happening while on a stock set up. What method did you use to root and what custom stuff have you installed?

I used the latest EL29 one click odin from these forums and I haven't really touched anything. Would loading a rom help?

Maybe, I would try the EL29 one click again. It will flash EL29 again but it will preserve your user data.
